Jamie XX’s song “Dafodil” carries a shimmering, almost tangible mood – a play of light, rhythm, and subtle moments. The aim of this image series was to make that feeling visible: to translate music into a visual experience through a combination of classic retouching and explorative AI work.
Using tools like Midjourney, AI was approached not as a replacement but as a creative partner – a tool to explore associations, moods, and details that might otherwise remain unseen. Each image is the result of a dialogue between human intuition and machine interpretation, refined with careful traditional retouching.
The outcome: a visual journey that captures the atmosphere of the song – poetic, experimental, and deeply connected to the music’s pulse.
